Prepare a marketing plan and sales for your hotel?

And 'again time to start working on hotel sales and marketing plan. They want to be ready and have all the necessary information to prepare a marketing plan and vital sound.

Why you need a marketing plan? If the plans and objectives are not present, then lost and time is wasted. It must be focused on selected segments based on the known history and in areas that have an impact on hotel revenues. The budget must be maintained. Sales targets arebe exceeded. This will create profit for your hotel and everyone is happy. You need to know and how they are brought up to achieve these goals.

In preparation, I suggest you begin to gather the following tools and information you need to complete the plan:


Get your GRC updated and ready to examine.

Make a list of accounts that you want to transient target for the property.Transient generally pay the highest rates.
Print your last report STAR.
Obtain a copy of your current values.
Perform a competitive analysis on the hotels that are in the STAR report, or perhaps more if they are a competitor.
Write down all the trade shows or events you wish to attend a sales representative.
Investments that want to be involved? Can a budget for it?
Pay for membership that do not work? Why should you spend yourmarketing dollars there? Is there a membership fee that you click Cancel to connect with each other?

A monthly chart and write action plans for review.
Enter sales manager, administrator or help desk to carry out projects.
Meet General Manager or Regional VP to discuss what they expect from the marketing plan.
Obtain a copy of the previousYears of marketing plans and ideas to those returning.
Set tour dates are competitive on the STAR report and make sure you know who your competitors.

Marketing plans are road maps, what you believe to increase sales of your hotel and how to get there. Do not waste time putting a bunch of action plans and ideas that you never do. Think about it. Learn more about your market and competition. The plans must be realistic andachieved. Do not make it more 'fun and exciting and therefore could be the year sitting on the shelf useless.
